Kostum Vintage Madonna Hilang Usai Penampilan di Coachella, Polisi Selidiki
Suara Pecari – 23 April 2026 | Madonna‘s two vintage costume bags went missing shortly after her performance at Coachella 2026, prompting a police inquiry in Indio, California.
The incident occurred after the pop icon shared the stage with Sabrina Carpenter on the festival’s second weekend, Friday night, April 17.
According to police, the bags were last seen inside a golf cart parked near Empire Polo Grounds at about 01:30 local time.
Officers believe the items may have been unintentionally dropped during transfer to a larger logistics vehicle, though the possibility of theft has not been ruled out.
The missing luggage contained a lavender corset, purple lace knee‑high stockings, lavender gloves, oversized sunglasses, a vintage bodysuit, a purple corset, a Gucci jacket, boots and assorted jewelry.
Madonna said many pieces date back to her debut appearance at Coachella in 2005 and also include garments from the 2006 tour, giving them personal and historical significance.
In an Instagram post on April 22, the singer emphasized that the items are not merely clothing but archival material that documents her artistic evolution.
She added that she is offering a monetary reward to anyone who returns the belongings safely to her team.
Police released a statement to ABC News indicating that no evidence of a deliberate theft has been found, and they are seeking witnesses who may have seen the bags.
The investigation remains open, with detectives reviewing security footage from the festival grounds and interviewing staff members who handled the equipment.
Madonna’s performance with Carpenter featured a medley of hits such as “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer” and introduced an unreleased collaborative track rumored to be titled “Bring Your Love”.
The new song is expected to appear on Madonna’s forthcoming album “Confessions II,” slated for release on July 3, 2026, according to Billboard sources.
Madonna’s return to Coachella marks her second appearance at the event after a landmark set in 2005 that helped cement her reputation as a live‑show innovator.
Industry observers note that the loss of archival costumes highlights the challenges of managing extensive wardrobe collections during large‑scale festivals.
The police continue to monitor tips, and Madonna urges fans and staff to report any information that could lead to the recovery of the historic items.
